Ella is one of the nicest people we know in the mountain bike world. With a smile constantly on her face, she’s always encouraging others and maintaining a positive attitude. We recently chatted with her about how she got into mountainbiking and her view of the sport. Read on to learn more about Ella.

Favourite trail or area for riding?
Victory Hill Sector because I LOVE Knight’s trail building style! Anything in Bellingham!
When did you start riding mountain bikes? How did you get into the sport?
I was living in southern CA in 2010 and needed something to do when I wasn’t driving to Mammoth for snow. I had an opportunity to try MTB and was hooked my first try.
Best moment on a bike?
All of them, but if I had to choose, probably hitting the wood lip in Victory!

What do you consider your strengths? And what is your weakness?
I consider my strength to be my ability to face things that scare me head on. My weakness it that I will break myself down if I think I should be doing better.
How does your sport need to develop in order to get more attention?
More National support of rider development programs.
Whom would you like to thank?
Alex, my Fiancé for being supportive but never overbearing. My dad for showing me that it is never too late to be a total Bad Ass. My Mom for giving me a sense of adventure to try new things.
What is your favourite tire? Why? The new Aquila for hard charging! Although this girl can get down with some Skinwall Ibex!
